As a Platinum Sponsor, HWG Sababa will share its expertise in protecting critical resources in Central Eurasia.

HWG Sababa is pleased to announce its participation as a Platinum Sponsor at the Cyber Security Summit 2024 – Central Eurasia, a renowned international event taking place on October 9–10 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Organized by Dialogue Events UK and the Cyber Security Centre Uzbekistan, the Summit represents a key opportunity to discuss the challenges shaping the global cyber landscape and the cybersecurity strategies needed to protect critical infrastructures.

The event will feature prominent stakeholders from institutional backgrounds, industry experts, representatives of national security centers in Central Eurasia, cybersecurity solution providers, and end-users from government, commercial, and industrial sectors. Through a combination of panels, seminars, and roundtable discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic networking and knowledge-sharing sessions.

At the Summit, George Shebuldaev, Head of HWG Sababa in Central Asia, will share his expertise in the panel titled “Navigating the Cyber Security Threat Landscape with the Best in the Business“. Drawing from HWG Sababa’s rapid SOC development in Uzbekistan over the past two years, George will present the lessons learned in establishing a SOC in a challenging market, addressing common organizational challenges, and implementing critical technologies essential from the start. He will also present strategies to mitigate the region’s cybersecurity talent shortage and uncover a hidden advantage SOCs can bring to organizations – elevating their operational efficiency and resilience.

HWG Sababa will also participate as a speaker in the roundtable discussion, ‘Educating, Training & Employing the Next Generation of Cybersecurity Specialists’, which will focus on the critical importance of training highly skilled professionals to meet the growing demands of the cybersecurity industry.

Finally, on the first day of the Summit, HWG Sababa, with the support of local partners, will conduct a seminar focused on the implementation of XDR (eXtended Detection and Response) systems and managing information security requirements in the development process of mobile and web applications. Besides that, HWG Sababa will have a dedicated booth where participants can explore the company’s solutions and connect with its experts.

We are honoured to take part in this significant event and contribute to the exchange of ideas and best practices to address today’s pressing cybersecurity challenges”, said George Shebuldaev, Managing Director for Central Asia at HWG Sababa. “At HWG Sababa, we are committed to providing innovative, high-quality solutions that empower organizations to operate in a secure and protected environment ”.

HWG Sababa, a leading company in the cybersecurity sector, hosted forty MBA students from Hofstra University in New York at its Milan headquarters for a day of discussions on strategic marketing and brand positioning.

The students undertook a project aimed at strengthening the positioning of a global brand in IT and OT security, through the planning of an effective go-to-market strategy. Emphasis was placed on key sectors such as finance, healthcare, energy, public services, manufacturing, automotive, and critical infrastructure. The project primarily focused on developing markets in the Middle East and Central Asia emphasizing the need for the brand to be properly localized to meet specific local demands.

This initiative provided a significant opportunity for HWG Sababa to engage with young talents possessing a strong marketing background, gaining insights into their innovative approaches for adapting the cybersecurity brand to emerging markets.

The collaboration with a prestigious institution like Hofstra University allows us to expand our international academic network and further refine our positioning in emerging markets, – stated HWG Sababa CEO Alessio Aceti. Additionally, it offers us direct access to potential talents for future growth and development opportunities”.

Our partnership with Hofstra University exemplifies our commitment to fostering education as well as innovation within the cybersecurity field. By engaging with the MBA students, we gain fresh perspectives and creative strategies that are crucial for our brand’s adaptation and success in diverse global markets “, added Olga Orlova, CMO at HWG Sababa.
